DUSHANBE, March 25, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Friday March 25, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov received Ambassador Hidajet Biscevic, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Tajikistan.
The Tajik MFA information department says the two discussed a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union.
Aslov and Biscevic also discussed a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest, they source said.
They also discussed the results of the fifth meeting of the Cooperation Council between Tajikistan and the European Union that took place in Brussels on February 16.
The Delegation of the European Union to Tajikistan is one of over 130 European Union Delegations around the world. It was established in Dushanbe in 2003 and officially accredited as a diplomatic representation in May 2004.
