DUSHANBE, April 14, 2016, Asia-Plus – Tajik Security Council Secretary Abdurahim Qahhorov met with his Uzbek counterpart Viktor Mahmoudov on April 13 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on the sidelines of a session of Security Council Secretaries from member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the two discussed prospects of relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues being of mutual interest.
Qahhorov and Mahmoudov also discussed issues related to expansion of cooperation between the SCO member nations in addressing new challenges and threats.
