DUSHANBE, June 29, 2016, Asia-Plus -- Outgoing Swiss Ambassador to Tajikistan with residence in Astana (Astana), Mr. Mauro Reina, yesterday met here with Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov at the end of his tenure to Tajikistan, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
Mr. Nicolas Bruhl, the head of the Europe, Central Asia, Council of Europe, OSCE Division at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, who arrived in Dushanbe for participation in Tajikistan-Switzerland political consultations, also attended the meeting.
The two sides reportedly discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Switzerland.
They also exchanged views on water and regional problems as well as a number of other issues being of mutual interest.
Aslov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Reina for his contribution to strengthening of relations between Tajikistan and Switzerland and wished him success in his further activity.
