Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will arrive in Tajikistan tomorrow on a one-day working visit, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
While in Dushanbe, he is reportedly scheduled to hold talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
Mevlut Cavusoglu (born February 5, 1968) is a Turkish politician who has been Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey since November 24, 2015; previously he was Minister of Foreign Affairs from August 2014 to August 2015. He is also a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, where he represents Antalya Province. First elected to Parliament in the 2002 general election, he is a founding member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP). He was the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 2010 to 2012.
Meanwhile, education ministers form the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member nations are continuing to arrive in Dushanbe for participation in the 6th session of the SCO Council of Education Ministers that is concluding tomorrow.
A visit of the delegation of representatives of government bodies and privates sector of the United Arab Emirates to Tajikistan is concluding on October 21.
Led by Energy Minister Suhail Mohammed Al Mazroues, the delegation arrived in Dushanbe on October 19 for participation in the Tajikistan-UAE investment forum.
A delegation of Kuwait, led by Abdullah al-Matouq, Chairman of the International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) also UN Humanitarian Envoy for Kuwait, will arrive in Dushanbe on October 24 on a five-day visit.
