President Emomali Rahmon on November 22 received the credentials of fourteen new ambassadors during ceremonies at the Palace of Nation, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
The new ambassadors include Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Badi of Saudi Arabia, Ali Rifat Köksal of Turkey, Yasmine Gouedard of France, Andrea Bertozzi of Italy, Gerhard Sailler of Austria, Dirk Jan Koop of the Netherlands, Andreas Friganas of Greece, Jaroslav Siro of the Czech Republic, Urs Schmidt of Switzerland, Francis Assisi Chullicatt of Vatican, Dumitru Bragish of Moldova, Kwon Young of Korea. Mujibul Rahman Buiyan of Bangladesh, and Ian Alexander Hill of New Zealand.
President Rahmon expressed confidence that the newly appointed ambassadors would take efforts to promote further expansion of cooperation between their countries and Tajikistan.
