On Wednesday January 10, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met here with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, who is on an official visit to Dushanbe.
The Tajik MFA information department says the two exchanged views on cooperation in political, economic and social areas.
They, in particular, discussed issues related to expanding trade, tourism, healthcare, educational, scientific and cultural cooperation as well as joint efforts to ensure security, combat terrorism and expand the legal foundation for cooperation.
Muhriddin and Fidan reportedly also exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
Following the bilateral meetings, the foreign ministers signed a 2024-2026 program for cooperation.
