DUSHANBE, January 26, Asia-Plus – Interaction within the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) meets interests of member nations of the organization, Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov noted.
“Under conditions of increasing globalization process the Community should gain ground to become an effective mechanism orientated towards deep integration.” “Uzbekistan’s admission to the Community will give a new impulse to expansion of interaction between member nations of the organization and will boost its further economic development,” President Rahmonov stressed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that that Uzbekistan’s joining the Organization would allow creating reliable nuclear-fuel component of the energy basis. “With Uzbekistan’s joining the Community the EAEC will have additional opportunities for creating reliable nuclear-fuel of the energy basis for long-term prospects,” the Russian president said.
The EAEC Secretary General Grigory Rapota has noted that Uzbekistan’s joining the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) is expected to help solve painful problems of Central Asia and boost regional integration. “Uzbekistan, which has an immense agrarian, industrial and human potential, will drastically expand EAEC possibilities, and will help solve the water, energy and transport problems of Central Asia,” Rapota stressed.
