“Protecting homeland, strengthening independence, and providing peace and stability as well as security of the country are the main duty of each of citizens,” the president stressed, noting that modern challenges threatening the world such as terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and organized transnational crime require vigilance and fighting efficiency of all power-wielding and law enforcement structures.
Rahmonov noted that the government attached a great significance to improvement of conditions of services in the National Guards. Last year, for example, 45 officers of this unit were provided with apartment, and many others were given rooms in family hostels.
