DUSHANBE, April 20, Asia-Plus - Tajik authorities are supporters of democratic and transparent elections, President Emomali Rahmonov today remarked addressing a joint meeting a joint session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) and the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament).
He noted that
Tajikistan
had to hold an important political event in November – presidential elections. “We have experience in holding elections and legal foundation of elections,” Rahmonov said, adding that all political forces should work within the framework of law ahead of the election.
