DUSHANBE, April 25, Asia-Plus - On Tuesday April 25, a Tajik parliamentary delegation led by Saydullo Khairulloyev, Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) left for St. Petersburg to attend events dedicated to the 100 ^th anniversary of Russia’s State Duma (Russian parliament’s lower house).

According to Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Milli (Tajik parliament), during its stay in St. Petersburg the delegation is attend a working session that will open in St. Petersburg on April 26.  

Tajik parliamentarians are also supposed to take part at sessions of the Inter-Parliamentary Assemblies of the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) that will be held in late April.   

Within the framework of a four-day visit the Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev is scheduled to meet with heads of both chambers of Russian parliament.
