More than 40 issues were discussed during a May 2 government meeting, presidential press service reported. After considering personnel issues participants at the meeting also discussed preparations for the forthcoming autumn-winter season of 2006-2007, including rational use of water resources, taking adequate measures to organize stable operation of hydropower plants, provision of the population with natural gas, electricity and coal.

Participants at the meeting also approved the concept of national policy to support employment of the population designed for 2006-2010.
The session focused on the issues of fighting trafficking in persons in the country. For the purpose of practically implementing the program for fighting human trafficking in 2006-2010 head of state gave commissions to relevant bodies.
