DUSHANBE , May 8, Asia-Plus - Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over a working meeting of the mayor’s office today to discuss issues related to organization and holding in Dushanbe of events dedicated to the 61 ^st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.  

            The meeting also focused on the issues of sanitary situation in the city and adequate preparations for the next winter, according to Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor.  

The mayor demanded at the meeting that all necessary measures should be taken to provide the population, economic, social and cultural facilities with electricity, gas and fuel, passenger transport services and communal services in the autumn-winter period of 2006-2007.
