DUSHANBE, May 23, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday May 23, President Rahmonov presided over a meeting with participation of senior representatives from the government and president’s office to discuss a progress of preparations for celebrations to mark the 15 ^th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence, a Year of Aryan Civilization, a Forum of Tajiks of the World and the 2700 ^th anniversary of Kulob.   .

According to presidential press service, during the meeting it was noted that those events were of significant political, social, cultural and international importance.  Rahmonov demanded at the meeting that adequate measures should be taken to ensure holding all those events on high level.
