DUSHANBE , June 5, Asia-Plus - Tajik MPs have considered a bill “On the Association of Water Users of Tajikistan.”

A meeting of the Shuro (board) of the Majlisi Namoyandagon ( Tajikistan ’s lower chamber of parliament) presided over by its chairman Saydullo Khairulloyev was held on June 5.  

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, has told Asia-Plus that participants at the meeting also discussed government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Turkey on the activity of TICA program coordination office in Tajikistan, resolution of the CIS heads of state on a concept of concerted border policy of member nations of the CIS, as well as a protocol on making changes and addenda to the treaty on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) and a protocol on Uzbekistan’s joining the treaty.
