DUSHANBE , June 23, Asia-Plus -- The sixth session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) opened in the Tajik capital today morning.  

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, has told Asia-Plus that members of the Dushanbe legislature are aiming to discuss discus a report by Jamshed Laqayev, director of the unit for coordination of the Dushanbe water supply project, on a progress of work to enhance the provision of the city population with safe drinking water.  

Besides, Deputy Dushanbe Mayor, Abdukarim Abdurrahimov, is reporting on a program of development of the Dushanbe industrial sector in 2006-2010.
