KULOB, July 31, Asia-Plus - Major Shamsiddin Hasanov has been relieved of his post of deputy chief of the Kulob police directorate for operational activity for failing to implement his duties properly.
Major Sharif Shamsiyev, aide to the Kulob police directorate chief, has told Asia-Plus that Shamsiddin Hasanov was sacked for low crime detection rates.
“Over the first six months of this year, 125 crimes have been registered in Kulob; of them 90 crimes have been solved,” Major Shamsiyev said.
The other deputy chief of the Kulob police directorate, Lieutenant-Colonel Nasriddin Qalandarov, has also been dismissed in connection with transfer to other job. He has been appointed the head of the passport office of the Kulob police directorate. The previous chief of the passport office, Lieutenant-Colonel Sirojiddin Nabotov, has replaced Qalandarov as deputy chief of the Kulob police directorate.
