DUSHANBE, August 21, Asia-Plus - Issues related to preparation of jubilee objects for putting into operation and pulling down of unauthorized buildings in Dushanbe were aims of a working meeting presided over by Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev on August 21.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, during the it was noted that two new schools to accommodate 1,960 pupils and 1,568 pupils respectively would be put into operation in Dushanbe from August 30 to September 1. Besides, a hostel for students studying at higher educational institutions by presidential quota and an isolation hospital located in Zarafshon microryaon of Dushanbe as well as 6 th and 7 th sections of the residential building “Poitakht-80” will be put into operation during these days, according to him.
On preparations for celebrations to mark the 15 th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence, Ubaidulloyev demanded at the meeting that all relevant municipal services should take efforts to improve the city. Military parade and theatrical show will be held in Dushanbe on September 9, according to Shavkat Saidov.
Besides, the mayor pointed to the necessity of live performance of national anthem in all official and ceremonial events.
The meeting also focused on unauthorized construction in the city. Ubaidulloyev ordered heads of all districts of Dushanbe to set up special public structures to control unauthorized construction in the capital city.
“Beginning on August 25, the Dushanbe mayor will conduct raids to control work on pulling down unauthorized facilities once in ten days,” said mayoral spokesman, “Heads of Dushanbe media were proposed to keep with and cover this problem,” Shavkat Saidov concluded.
