DUSAHNBE, September 25, Asia-Plus - The seventh session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) opened in Dushanbe today.

The ongoing session of Dushanbe legislature is discussing progress of preparation of capital city for the autumn-winter period of 2006-2007.  Deputy Mayor Masaid Homidov has reported on this subject.   

According to the mayor’s office, a working group will then analyze the preparations for winter and submit a report to the mayor. 

In addition, the head of the city electoral commission has reported the results of the elections for new members of the city legislature in constituencies # 48 and 57 and the session confirmed new members.
