DUSHANBE, October 19, Asia-Plus - Dushanbe mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has sacked heads of the markets of Shohmansur (Said Nazarov), Barakat (Hofiz Davlatov) and Sakhovat (Saidqul Jabborov), mayoral press service reported.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, they have been relieved of their posts for failing to implement of mayor’s resolutions on stockpiling farm produce, violating rules of functioning of markets and negligence.
The spokesman added that they are also accused of putting up with “spread of parasitic and monopolistic structures (second-hand dealers) on the markets.”
According to him, divisional inspections working with those markets have also been dismissed.
