DUSHAHNBE, December 1, Asia-Plus - President Emomali Rahmonov today monring visted the Ministry of Defense (MoD) to introduce the new minister, according to MoD.

A source at a MoD said that Colonel-General Sherali Khairulloyev was introduced to the ministry’s board as newly appointed Minister of Defense.  Khairulloyev has headed the MoD since April 1995.  

A source at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade said in an interview with Asia-Plus that Oqil Oqilov had been reappointed to the post of Prime Minister and today monring, he introduced to the board of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade the newly appointed minister.  Ghulomjon Boboyev was appointed to the post of Minister of Economic Development and Trade, according to the source.  Boboyev had previously been Minister of State Revenues and Tax Collections.
