DUSHANBE, December 6, Asia-Plus - President Emomali Rahmonov has met with visiting Ambassador of the European Union to Central Asia Adriaan vand der Meer.
Presidential press service says that the two are discussing issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between the European Union (EU) and Tajikistan.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MoEDT), the sixth meeting of the commission EU-Tajikistan will be held in Dushanbe today. Senior representatives from all ministries and organizations of the republic are expected to attend the meeting, a source at a MoEDT said. The meeting will consider a progress of economic reforms in Tajikistan and issues related to Tajikistan’s joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).
