KHOROG, February 20, Asia-Plus - New governor of Gorno Badakhshan has shaken up regional officials.  

Boynazar Abdulnazarov, deputy head of the GBAO organizational department, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that by governor’s decision a number of staff changes had been introduced. 

Utakambek Temurbekov, formerly deputy head of the GBAO health department, was appointed to head this department. 

Davlat khudonazarov, formerly director of Aga Khan Lyceum in Khorog, was appointed as head of the GBAO culture department.  Bibigul Jumayeva, who had previously been chairperson of the GBAO culture department, was appointed to head the regional department for social security of the population.
