DUSHANBE, February 28, Asia-Plus - President Emomali Rahmonov has signed decrees appointing Ghaybullo Avzalov head of the Khatlon Province and Abduqohir Nazirov head of the Sughd Province.    

We will recall that by president’s decrees issued in early December 2007 Avzalov and Nazirov were appointed acting heads of the mentioned provinces. 

Now, after being elected members of the Khatlon and Sughd regional legislatures (Majlis) respectively, Avzalov and Nazirov also may manage regional bodies of the representative power.
