DUSHANBE, March 6, Asia-Plus -- Capital mayor has signed resolution introducing new waste management fees.  

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that fees are paid monthly on a volume basis.

Under the resolution, the waste treatment fees are set at 30 dirams per one cubic meter per one family member for residents of multi-story buildings provided with refuse chute, 25 dirams for residents of multi-story buildings without refuse chute and 35 dirams for residents of individual residential buildings.  The prices include VAT.
