DUSHANBE, August 31, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan has established diplomatic relations with Paraguay.  

According to the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abulmajid Dostiyev and Paraguayan Ambassador to Russia Marcial Bobadilla Culleni signed a joint statement on establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Paraguay in Moscow on August 30.  

Both diplomats expressed hope that establishment of diplomatic relations will promote development of bilateral economic and trade ties between the two countries.
