DUSHANBE, September 3, Asia-Plus – A delegation of Iranian MPs arrived in Tajikistan for a five-day working visit on September 1
Bilateral parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran is major topic of a meeting of Sadullo Khairulloyev, Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) with Iranian parliamentarians that is currently being held in Dushanbe.
According to the Tajik parliament press service, the sides have discussed further expansion cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries as well as other issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in various fields.
During their stay in Tajikistan, Iranian parliamentarians are also scheduled to hold talks with heads of a number of Tajik ministries and organizations.
