DUSHANBE, September 13, Asia-Plus — A delegation of members of the legislature (Duma) of Russia’s Ivanovo region arrived in Tajikistan Thursday for a two-day working visit, press release issued by the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe said.
During their stay in Dushanbe, members of the Ivanovo legislature are holding talks with senior representatives from the ministries of education and economic development and trade. They will also hand over a bulk of textbooks and fictions to school # 28 in Dushanbe.
It is not the first visit of representatives from the Ivanovo legislature to Tajikistan. The delegation of the Ivanovo legislature led by its head Nazarov visited Tajikistan last October.
