DUSHANBE, November 20, Asia-Plus  -- Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) who is  currently serving as the chairman of the Eurasian Economic Community’s (EAEC) Parliamentary Assembly (PA), yesterday met with visiting EAEC Secretary General Tair Mansourov.  

Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker for public relations, told Asia-Plus that in the course of the talks the two had discussed issues related to further intensification f activity of the EAEC PA. 

Ubaidulloyev underlined the necessity of thorough use of existing potentials for implementation of resolutions adopted at an October EAEC meeting in Dushanbe on creation of common customs space.    

The sides also pointed the necessity of elaboration and adoption of a model law on regulation of labor migration within the EAEC area.  

            The EAEC secretary general, for his part, suggested that activities of EAEC and its PA should be covered by Russian TV channels and Interstate TV company Mir, the aide said.
