DUSHANBE, December 24, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to the country’s Water Code at a December 24 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered the government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan on free trade, as well as reports of heads of a number of parliamentary delegations on their business trips.
The board also passed a resolution on the agenda of the next regular sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation that will be held on December 26, the spokesman said.
