DUSHANBE, March 6, Asia-Plus -- Members of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) are hearing a report by the country’s chief prosecutor Bobojon Bobokhonov on execution of laws.
The 14th session of the Majlisi Milli, presided over by its head, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, is opening in Dushanbe today morning.
Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli head for public relations, told Asia-Plus that chef prosecutor’s report was submitted fro hearing at the session by recommendation of the Majlisi Million board (Shuro) that met yesterday.
The board meeting also discussed and submitted for consideration to the session 38 laws adopted by the Majlisi Namoyandagon as well as president’s proposals on electing and dismissing deputy chairmen and a number of judges of the Supreme Court.
