DUSHANBE, March 19, Asia-Plus  -- A meeting of President Emomali Rahmon with the representatives of the Tajik intelligentsia is currently going on at the Center for Strategic Studies in Dushanbe.  

 The meeting is supposed to be followed by open discussion of the most topical issues of socioeconomic development of the country, presidential press service said.   

Researchers and known culture figures from all regions of the country are attending the meeting.    

As usual, in his address to the intelligentsia to mark Navrouz, the head of state will speak about problems of development and society and a role of the intelligentsia in fostering education and enlightenment in society congratulate.

According to presidential press service, President Rahmon will also attend an official ceremony of putting eight nine-storey residential buildings in the Hofiz Sherozi Street in Dushanbe today.  The president will also take part in a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a 12-storey residential building in Dushanbe’s Zarafshon area.
