DUSHANBE, April 8, Asia-Plus /Bahrom Mannonov/ -- A group of Moscow specialists arrived in Dushanbe today morning to study issues related to construction of a number of coal-run boiler houses in the Dushanbe’s Sino district for heating multi-storey residential buildings and social facilities in the district that receive electricity supplies only.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the capital mayor, said that an agreement on this subject was reached during a meeting of Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev with his Moscow counterpart Yuri Luzhkov that was held in Moscow last week.
According to him, the Moscow delegation members include A. Popov, deputy head of the Moscow culture directorate, A. Sapozhnikov, deputy head of the CIS division within the Moscow directorate for foreign economic activity and international relations, A. Chapkevich, deputy chairman of the board of open joint-stock company (OJSC) Moscow Committee for Science and Technologies, S. Romanovsky, first deputy head of the Moscow directorate for fuel-energy economy, V. Semyonov, director general of the Moscow research Institute for Power Supply, V. Bogatkin, director of the Volga branch of the Research Institute for Energy Industry, M. Trousov, engineer-in-chief within closed joint-stock company (CJSC) TEP Engineering, and N. Grachyov, deputy engineer-in-chief with OJSC MOEK.
After detailed study of the issue, the Moscow specialists jointly with representatives from relevant bodies of the Dushanbe mayor’s office will submit specific proposals for making final decision on the issue, the spokesman said.
