DUSHANBE, April 3, Asia-Plus -- On Saturday May 3, President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes.
According to presidential press service, by president’s decrees judges in a number of cities and districts subordinate to the center, Gorno Badakhshan, Khatlon province and Dushanbe totlaing 14 persons as well as diplomats were replaced.
Erkin Qosimov, formerly Deputy Foreign Minister, was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Asomuddin Saidov, who had previously headed the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Committee on International Affairs, Public Association and Information, was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, replacing Mahmoudjon Sobirov who was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister in February 2008 already
Farrukh Sharipov was relieved of his post of head of the personnel and special information directorate within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and appointed Tajikistan Consul General to Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Asror Latipov, formerly deputy head of the public service directorate within the President’s Executive Office, was appointed to head the organizational department within the President’s Executive Office, replacing Hakim Mirsayev. Hakim Mirsayev was appointed head of the control department within the President’s Executive Office.
