DUSHANBE, July 26, 2008, Asia-Plus -- By president’s decree of July 25, 2008 a two-year moratorium is introduced on all types of inspection of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tajikistan, according to presidential press services.
The decree is issued with the aim of supporting further development of SMEs in the country and creation of favorable conditions for attraction of investments.
Moratorium does not apply to inspections that are conducted in accordance with the legislation on the instituted criminal proceedings.
Representatives of state inspecting agencies and authorities of Gorno Badakhshan, Dushanbe, provinces, cities and districts subordinate to the center are to take measures to ensure implementation of the decree, presidential press service said.
