DUSHANBE, July 30, 2008, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday July 30, President Emomali Rahmon met with a group of newly appointed ministerial officials and judges, according to presidential press service.
During the meeting, the head of state, in particular, expressed concern about shortcomings in work of courts. He stressed that one the most serious problems facing the country’s judicial system is bribery and called on the newly appointed judges to perform their duties fairly and ensure supremacy of law, according to the press service.
The newly appointed ministerial officials and judges vowed to work for the benefit of the country and the people.
