DUSHANBE, October 30, 2008, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday October 29, President Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of congratulations to his Turkish counterpart, President Abdullah Gul, on occasion of the 85th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, presidential press service said.
In his message, President Rahmon, in particular, noted Tajikistan attaches significance to its cooperation with Turkey and is ready to expand fruitful cooperation in the future as well.
Tajik leader also expressed hope that forthcoming official visit of President Gul to Tajikistan would give a new impulse to further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey.
