DUSHANBE, February 3, 2009, Asia-Plus -- By order issued by new interior minister on February 2 Rauf Yusupov, formerly deputy interior minister, was appointed to head the Sughd police directorate, according to press service of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
Yusupov replaced Abdurahim Qahhorov, who was appointed as minister of interiors, replacing Mahmadnazar Solehov.
We will recall that President Emomali Rahmon announced the sacking of Solehov at the annual session of the National Security Council and replaced him with Sughd police directorate chief Abdurahim Qahhorov.
