DUSAHNBE, May 18, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The 19th session of the Mjlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) of the third convocation has opened in Dushanbe today morning.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the upper house speaker for public affairs, said that the session was considering the laws on census, higher and post-diploma vocational education, time-and-cost valuation rating, subsistence wage and a number of other laws concerning socioeconomic and cultural life of the country.
