DUSHANBE, July 2, 2009 Asia-Plus -- Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) yesterday signed a resolution on convocation of the 20th session of the Majlisi Milli in Dushanbe on July 23.
Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker, said that the session will consider the laws on autonomous bodies of settlements and villages, mutual insurance and other laws adopted by the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) this year.
The session will also consider the law requiring amendments to the law on the Constitutional court of Tajikistan, the aide said.
