DUSHANBE, August 13, 2009, Asia-Plus -- By Dushanbe mayor’s resolution major repairs will be made to several avenues and streets in Dushanbe next year.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, told Asia-Plus today, that the capital construction department within the Dushanbe mayor’s office is to prepare all necessary documents for major repairs to the streets of Ayni, Sohili, Abdurahmoni Jomi as well as the avenues of Saadi Sherozi and Alisher Navoi until the end of this year.
“Major repairs will be paid from the Dushanbe city budget,” Saidov said.
At present repair-and-renewal operations are carried out on seven streets and avenues of the Tajik capital. The Dushanbe city budget has allocated more than 28 million somoni for these repair-and renewal operations, the spokesman said.
