DUSHANBE, August 31, 2009, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon today sent a telegram of congratulations to his Kyrgyz counterpart, President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, on occasion of the 18th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s Independence, according to presidential press service.
In his message, Rahmon, in particular, expressed satisfaction with the present level of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and expressed hope that bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries would expand in the future as well.
“Taking joint efforts, we will be able to ensure dynamic expansion of cooperation between our countries, which meets interest of the peoples of the two countries and is an important factor of peace and stability in the region, the message said.
