DUSHANBE, November 11, 2009, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday November 11, the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) endorsed amendments to the country’s law on holidays.
Under the addition made to the RT Law “On Public Holidays of the Republic of Tajikistan,” Tajikistan will mark a National Flag Day on November 24. It will not be a day off.
Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon also considered and approved amendments to the police law as well as civil, tax and water codes of the country.
