DUSHANBE, November 19, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The 22nd session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament), presided over by its speaker, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev is being held in Dushanbe today.
Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker, said that the session would consider some twenty issues related mainly to amendments made to a number of country’s laws.
The Majlisi Milli members will consider changes and addenda made to the country’s laws on police, holidays, road traffic, environmental protection, public holidays and some other legal acts, the aide said.
