DUSHANBE, December 11, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The Dushanbe mayor’s office intends to continue construction of Dushanbe’s Water Park.
According to the mayor’s office press service, Dushanbe authorities announced a tender for completion of construction of the Water Park in the Tajik capital on December 1. Both physical and legal entities may participate in the tender and the tender’s results will be summed up on January 17, 2010, the source said.
In 2004, Dushanbe mayor’s office concluded a contract on construction of the Water Park with Turkey’s Emek Project Limited, however the company stopped the construction work in mid-2004, pleading force majeure and did not fulfill its obligations on the contract, the press service said.
