DUSHANBE, April 26, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament (Majlisi Oli) considered a bill requiring amendments to the country’s law on mortgage at an April 26 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said the board also considered amendments to the country’s laws on the national budget for 2010, education, general census of the population and secret innovations.
The board also endorsed the plan of meetings of MPs with voters for the period from May 1 to May 9 and considered issues related to election of the Majlisi Namoyandagon representatives to the Constitutional Court of Tajikistan and the Shuroi Adliya (Council of Justice).
