Dushanbe. 24 May. Asia-Plus -- Last Saturday Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon has sent his condolence telegram to Indian President Pratibha Patil in which he expressed his condolences over crash of Boeing-737-800 air liner which was arriving from Dubai (UAE) to Mangalores (Indian state of Karnataka).
In his telegram Rahmon expressed his sincere condolences to India’s leader and asked him to send condolences of the Tajik people and government to relatives of victims, press service of the Tajik president told the AP.
A total of 158 people have died as air liner crashed on Saturday morning, May 22. All passengers were citizens of India except the pilot of the air jet who reported to be a citizen of the Great Britain. Eight victims survived, but got multiple injuries.
