DUSHANBE. June 8. “Asia-Plus” -- We invited Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon to take part in the UN inaugural Millennium Development Goals awards ceremony due in Ney York on September 9 this year, President of South-News agency Francis Lorenza told the reporters after his meeting with the Tajik President.

He said that Tajikistan plays a key role in resolution of global water related problems.

“During the meeting with Tajikistan’s President we have also discussed a series of issues of our cooperation in such directions as poverty reduction, development of health care and education,” he added.
