DUSHANBE, July 5, 2010, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon has congratulated the U.S. President Barack Obama on the occasion of the U.S. Independence Day.
According to presidential press service, the telegram of congratulations, in particular, says that Tajikistan high appraises the state and dynamics of expansion of the Tajik-United States mutually beneficial partnership oriented to a long-term perspective.
“I am sure that further strengthening and expansion of spheres of cooperation meets national interests of the two countries and is an important factor of promotion of ideals of democracy and progress in the region and the world as a whole. Tajikistan will undertake all necessary efforts for that,” President Rahmon said in his telegram of congratulations.
