DUSHANBE, October 12, 2010, Asia-Plus -- A ban imposed on metal exports concerns only the scrap metal, presidential press service said, commenting on yesterday’s government decision to put ban on the export of livestock, meats, potatoes, wools and metals.
The source added that the ban on the export of the non-ferrous metal scraps was imposed in 2003 already.
“The president ordered to tighten control over the implementation of this decision in order to prevent illegal scrap metal exports,” he added.
