DUSHANBE, October 13, 2010, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday October 12, President Emomali Rahmon signed a number of decrees authorizing a series of ambassador reshuffles.
According to presidential press service, Ramazon Mirzoyev was relieved of his post of Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Tajik ambassadors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen (Salohiddin Nasriddinov), the Republic of Turkey (Shuhrat Sultonov), and Uzbekistan (Bobokhon Mahmadov) were dismissed in connection with transfer to other jobs.
Abdullo Yuldoshev, formerly First Deputy Foreign Minister, was appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Farrukh Sharipov was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, and Salohiddin Nasriddinov was appointed Tajikistan Permanent Representative to UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.
